This sweet, loving, angel girl is named Bri. She has had such a rough start in life. She is a young 4 month-old tiny mix pup who found herself dumped in a shelter, alone, so frightened with no one to help her. Then, to add more misery and suffering into her short life, her right foot was badly injured in the shelter when a door was slammed on her leg, breaking her foot! When Angels realized how injured she was, we rushed her to the hospital where it was immediately determined she needed to have surgery to correct the break, or she would be in risk of losing her leg all together! Her surgery lasted over 2-1/2 hours and she was left with both pins and plates to stablize the break and allow her to heal properly. The sweetheart has endured so much pain in such a short amout of time, and must surely believe that the pain in her life will not ever end....but we at Angels know Bri is going to be much better at some point, and that we will do everything possible to help her have a much better life than she has had so far.
